趣话佳句，活学活用

1. No offense

兴味是"不是特意要冒犯你"，当你要拿起某件对当事东说念主来说有冒犯意味的事情时，最佳要先说"no offense"，或是"not to offend you"，极端于预先说念歉。咱们在电影《哈利·波特与密室》中还见到过这么的说法：Not to be rude or anything, but this isn't a great time for me to have a house-elf in my bedroom.

2. Hold on

咱们学过的hold on的兴味有"对峙，持紧"，；举例：Hold on to your hat in this wind. The early Christians held on to their beliefs despite strong opposition.Please hold on for a while longer. Hold on 还不错抒发打电话时要对方"等一下，不要挂断电话"，举例：If you can hold on a minute I'll go and find her.

在这个片断中，hold on 示意的是"等一下"的兴味，极端于咱们在《哈利·波特与密室》（精讲之一）中讲过的 hang on。

3. On one's watch
